Me and Caitlin were in France staying with Marie in her Amboise home. Susan had just arrived and was giving the three of us a hug, tears streaming down her face.
'The girls in NY can't wait for Christmas' she told us, wiping her tears.
'Neither can we' I replied. 'Were looking forward to it too'
We all trooped through to the living room and Marie grabbed us all a drink. I reminded Susan to let Jen and the girls know about Kate's play in the Autumn. Even better my pen-pal Sadie and her partner Liz were planning to go as well
'I won't forget' she promised. Marie returned with our drinks and a plate of biscuits and we talked shop for a couple of hours until we had to get ready for dinner

As we start coming down William asks me if I'd like to go out or stay in the hotel.

We found our hotel well enough. It had a lovely terrace looking over a sea view.
Tristan decided we should have our evening meal in our room, so we ordered off the room service menu.
