Lyra had asked us to rehearse for a week prior to the first day of principal photography. This was a great idea in my opinion as she only had 18 days to shoot it.
I arrived to the rehearsal hall for the first day with tears running down my cheeks. I hadn't made a film for ages and I'd missed being on a film set. I wiped my tears before I went through the door and we all got ready.
My preparations for my role were as scrupulous as ever considering our short schedule and Lyra was very pleased. My performance did need a few tweaks but that was why we were doing the rehearsal.
As the week progressed however I could feel Lyra tightening up slightly, as if she had finally realised what she was getting herself in for.
At the end of our sixth day of rehearsal we all received our call sheets for Monday and parted
Security will run you down hard
And I will lead them on a merry chase

Tristan was going back over to Boston to check that Isabel was okay.
I have to confess to not being entirely happy about these trips which seemed to be getting more regular. Previously he had left our former colleague alone, but ever since Christmas he had increased his need to offer her extra help.
I didn't want him to do this because Isabel was still in mourning after Emily's wedding and I didn't want him to complicate matters further
Nevertheless he still went and as he closed the door to our flat, I let a single tear spill down my face. I wiped it away and got ready for work
