Was at work today and towards the end of the day my co-teacher asked me why another teacher (in another classroom) was giving her an attitude. She then wrote her a nice note for her to read at her convenience. She tried to give it to her but she refused to take it saying she didn't want anything to do with her. She tried to ask her why. When she came back into our classroom she was crying saying she didn't know what she did to deserve such attitude. I gave her a brief hug and rubbed her back. She then told me I should get going home (as my shift was over) and didn't want the director to get mad I was staying late. So I left.

It seems teachers cry openly in that school, and, once more, you didn’t get to take care of her tears. I wonder if the work environment is not too good that it makes teachers cry often or it’s so good it allows you to express your emotions unashamedly.

She's just one to cry rather openly it seems. I guess its just we really feel comfortable opening up to each other.

Lucky girl, she gets to see you cry every now and then. Have you ever taken care of her tears, or viceversa?
Do you (or she) cry in front of other coworkers comfortably?

We've never taken care of each others tears. There is really only one other co-worker I really feel comfortable crying in front of. She's cried in front of a few others, actually.

Wow, I have to say she’s brave, I wouldn’t have the courage to do it. Have you seen anyone taking care of her tears?

Nice. Crying teachers have always been a fantasy of mine, though from a student's perspective. How were her expressions?

Pretty neutral I'd say as she was trying not to break down.
