Hi everyone. It’s been a while since I’ve posted and I hope you are doing ok. I come back to learn more about crying and all the different experiences you have had with others crying. I wanted to find out about a few things. First off, have you ever been held by the person who is crying? I know normally the person doing the crying is the one, beeing, held but has that ever been turned around so that the person who is crying is holding the other person? What are the different kinds of sobbing have you observed?  What are some of the differences that stuck with you? Do you have a most or least preferred kind of sob?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to check this movie out? I’m so curious about what all the crying is like? The body language, facial expression, all of it. If anyone can help that would be great.
Thanks

This is the weirdest laugh I’ve ever heard. I have also been wondering for a really long time what the visuals are of this person laughing I’d really appreciate as much detail as you are able to give. Thank you so much. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iys86OcXPY8

I would think the best way for a blind person to know what crying looks like would be to cry themselves and note all the different things and feelings their own body is doing.

I wish I could but I’m normally so upset about whatever it is I can’t focus on what’s going on with my body. Great suggestion though thanks.

Has anyone seen it? If possible I’d like to know what she looks like when she is crying. I’m wanting to know what her facial expressions are like. Do they change at all through out? I’m also interested in knowing if you are able to see any kind of body language related to her crying? The time range I’m wanting to know about starts at around 29 minutes up to about 50 minutes.  There are really long pauses when her sob goes silent, I’d like to know how her body moves. Throughout those 21 minutes I think there is some silent sobbing, but I’m not sure. If there is I’m not sure how long each fit lasts I’d like to know. In that timeframe are you able to see how her belly or chest moves at all? I hope this isn’t asking too much. Thanks so much I’ve wondered about this for years.

Does the face do anything in particular when the crying starts or stops? If she ever decides to hold me to her chest while she cries what may that feel like? I’m assuming when she takes a breath in her stomach pushes out? I’m just not sure what happens when she sobs into silence again. I guess her stomach stays in until she breathe’s in again? I never knew that people shook their shoulders when they cried

Hi all, I am blind, so the only way I have been able to observe someone crying is auditory. So I was wondering what the entire crying process looks like? The one time my wife cried around me we were talking, she had just responded to what I asked in a normal voice, so I asked her something else, but got no response. I waited a few seconds for a response but instead she gasped in and sobbed. The bed started bouncing a bit, not sure why, can someone explain? While she was sobbing I tried to put my hand on her shoulder, I felt her shoulder move up and down a few times before she shook it off. She just kept sobbing and bouncing. Her voice would go silent for quite some time, then the gasp again. I have asked her what crying looks like but all she tells me is it’s wet and sticky. I’ve asked her to hold me while she cries so I can understand what’s happening, but she won’t. I’d like to know a bit more of what the entire process looks like through the whole body if you can. Are there any videos of a woman crying from start to end?
Thanks so much take care
