I also love bromance to the point where I much prefer it to a male/female comforting dynamic and to where I'll like a clip way more just because it's bromance. I'm not sure what it is about it. Maybe the fact that two boys are being vulnerable together?

Haha Outsiders used to be my favorite movie, and I'm pretty sure that's why.

Heyy, so I'm curious what people think is the sort of "best" thing to say while comforting someone?

Whenever I picture myself comforting someone, I'm always sort of saying either "shhh, shh" or "it's ok, it's ok" but I remember seeing somewhere here that people think those aren't a good idea?

In my mind the actual words/sounds matter less than the tone and the fact that they're sort of "slow" sounding somehow, calming the person, but I want actual ideas of what to say as well!

Recently, I had a friend tell me that if he were crying, I would be the one he would talk to! It was the nicest thing and it sort of came out of nowhere. I do have to say, I do kind of have the rep with all of the people i know as the "kind and caring one" and people know I am very huggy and I don't mind listening to their problems.

I just wanted to share this with someone, and you all are the only ones who would appreciate it.

Just chiming in to say that it sounds like you're being a great person, giving her a lot of support, and I am so sorry this is happening to you guys . I wish I had more advice to give.

That movie is one of my favorites and always has been, but for some reason it wasn't until very recently that I registered the crying scenes.

Meet Me in St. Louis (another one of my favorites) has a lot of female crying.

As someone who is not particularly sexual in general, all i can say is that compared with my other fetish, the crying fetish is hardly sexual at all for me. Especially compared with my other fetish which is, I'd say, 70% sexual and 30% about vulnerability and seeing a different side of a person in a strange way.

But, that being said, I think the crying fetish means more to me than the other does. So, I don't know. I guess I have to think about all this haha.

^ REALLY?! Aw, yay! I wanted to see that show mostly because I assumed there'd be crying at some point. Hurrah! Will have to go hunt down the clip.

I vote yes, mostly because I don't see why it would be members only and didn't realize it was, haha.
